It seems so cold and windy lately. I never thought the weather could be good enough for boots. The cold doesn’t bother me that much but I’m just not used it. I live in the Caribbean, it’s rare for the weather to be this cold. It’s been especially windy, the wind howling and hitting against the window, it barely let me sleep the other day, like if there were a hurricane or something, storm season is MONTHS away. Such strange weather makes me think I’m elsewhere and not the tropical island I’m used to. It’s a nice change though, I could wear my long sleeved shirts this week.

I saw the movie and now I’m reading the book. It’s really addicting. It reminds me when I was in high school completely immersed in The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. I only got to The Vampire Armand from the series, anything after Queen of the Damned in my opinion is of lesser quality. Somewhere along the series the emotion and quality was lost, so I quit before the disappointment would be greater.

I don’t read much as I want to, literature wise. I read tech news everyday and poetry every once in a while. But months can pass before I can actually sit down and read a printed book in my hands. It’s a nice change.
