Take your favourite music anywhere
There are plenty of ways to keep your music files in sync no matter where you are but recently I’ve been using Moozone. It offers 2GB of storage for free which is pretty decent depending on the compression of your files.

I discovered the service on the Android Market, I’ve been having troubles with my SD card going kapoot a few times, making me lose ALL my files (#%&*^@#%$#@!!!!). You can register on their website or Android app, I registered using the app. I uploaded all my music that I had on my phone using the app, it took a while on WiFI and has a retry option in case the connection breaks. Where Moozone really shines either on your Android handset (it supports 1.5) or computer is the ability to playback all your music and organize them in playlists as long as you have an internet connection. It’s pretty user friendly. The app has a dropbox option where you save files for offline playback, since I have most of my music on the SD card already, I haven’t used this option yet.
Here’s a video showcasing the mobile app:
If you’re looking for a way to backup some of your favourite music to playback or download elsewhere, Moozone is a good option for laptops and Android handsets.

I love learning new things. You never know when bits of information might come in handy. That’s why I decided to make short videos that contain random information. Say hello to the first edition of i411 with Iniara.
What’s your favorite kind of music?
It’s a simple question, but I never have a clear answer for it. I can tell you my favourite color, season, movie, or book, but when I’m asked what my favourite kind of music, there’s no short and concise response.
If I had to pick a genre I would have to say Electronica. It’s broad enough to include most of the music I like to listen to on a daily basis. For example: techno, house, trance, industrial, electro, drum n bass, breakbeat, and sub-genres within those genres.
My parents and older siblings have been a big influence as well, which is why I love classical music and random songs from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. A few examples are songs from The Monkees, The Beatles, Billy Holiday, Harry Belafonte, and Abba.
My musical education began since I was in my mother’s womb. She plays guitar (and several instruments). My parents would play classical music, Abba, Mocedades, Maria Bethania, samba, old salsa musica etc. And when I was little my older sister would listen to Madonna, Erasure, REM, Pet Shop Boys, U2, etc. while my brother subjected me to Metallica, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Guns n Roses, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Poison, and other hair bands. Growing up in the early nineties I loved techno and pop music, and by the year 2000 I listened to bands like Korn, Slipknot, Kittie, and other alternative rock bands switching between numetal and more melodic rock like Matchbox 20 or Green Day. It’s hard to say, I listen to whatever pleases my ears. I never liked metal, the harshest music I ever listened to was Mushroomhead, Skinlab, and Devildriver when I was a freshman in high school. Then I went back to my techno/trance roots and started listening to progressive trance and dance and experimented with goth music to see what that was about since I always tend to be pretty morbid. I found a few songs that I liked in J-rock, gothic or symphonic metal, but I never really got into it. When I found Industrial/EBM I was impressed that it combined what I liked about rock and electronica together. I listen to everything I have mentioned before whenever the mood calls for it just like I’ve always done. From Gwen Stefani to Adema to Handel to Captain Jack, and Combichrist to Alanis Morisette. I mix it up every now and then. So, what is my favourite kind of music? Whatever pleases my ears. I have an open mind although there are few types of music that don’t sit well with me like country, bachata, tejano, cumbia, reggaeton, jazz, etc. and The Mars Volta. I can’t stand them. But oh well. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
