Bruno: The Movie

My full report on Bruno. I went to see it tonight and I have to say it was awesome. Most stuff I had already expected from footage I had already seen in previews and Bruno’s facebook page. I was surprised that they were showing it one of the smaller rooms in the theatre. I guess the priority is Transformers and Ice Age. Which reminds me of Transformers, it was ok, it just seemed like a really long commercial. You know how commercials these days are like mini movies? Well most action movies today are like long commercials. That’s how I see it anyway. They appeal to the today’s consumer, feeding you the need to buy what you don’t have.

Back to Bruno, I really like how it’s different than anything else Now Playing. For me it sends many messages to the masses. Some more obvious than others. For example, how people view the gay community. It’s a really strong message dressed in comedy. The different topics touched in Bruno are hilarious but with serious undertones: celebrities, peace in the middle east, adopting foreign babies, etc. It’s a very well made film that I highly recommend everyone to watch of you haven’t already.
