WordPress on Android

I got so excited when I read that WordPress had an Android app that I just had to download it. I’ve tried a few apps like wp2go,Pixelpipe, and Postbot, but didn’t have any success adding my site. The official WordPress app works GREAT on my phone (Samsung Behold II). I’ve been posting from the mobile browser (Dolphin Browser) using the regular online admin interface. I also tried a few mobile admin plugins but they didn’t work for me.

So I’m really psyched because it makes updates so much faster. Of course I still have to login to the online dashboard for other stuff but it’s nice to have a quick solution for updates or my random posts like recipes and stuff like that. It’s also nice that it supports multiple accounts. My site The Red Realm is also powered by WordPress so updating is a breeze. This post was written and posted from WordPress for Android.

Flash support, torrents, photo and video editing, are the only things that make me want to buy a laptop. For everything else I use my smartphone.

    I use a smartphone as a computer substitute. I don't have a computer
of my own at the moment and I'm very picky about buying a new one. I
hate borrowing computers so I do as much as I can on my phone.
Eventually I'll buy a decent laptop that suits my needs.

They finally made a smart phone that can handle CSS, huh? That's good to hear (though, I don't keep up with smart phone stuff, they've probably had that for a while). I don't think I update anything frequently enough to need something like that, but it's good to know that it's already here, so it'll be cheap by the time I catch up to it.
