Yum, cooking.
Last night when I was making dinner I thought about writing down my recipes. I’ve always wanted to and my sisters sometimes ask how I made the food. So I think that the best way to do this is by writing short blogs about my cooking. By all means I’m no chef, I’m pretty much a simple home cooker. But hopefully someone can learn from my experiences in the kitchen.
This isn’t going to turn into a cooking blog, I just think it’s another aspect that should be included here. It’s fun and educational, and everybody eats food.
My style of cooking isn’t traditional Puerto Rican, I like to experiment in the kitchen. I also love Italian, Mexican, and Chinese food, so I incorporate many styles in my food. All that really matters is that it tastes good and that it’s a nice home cooked meal. It doesn’t matter if the meat comes out of a can or the freezer, it’s all about the preparation and taste.
