Dacaboya asked me some time ago to do a collaboration; write some lyrics, record them, and send them to complete one of his tracks. The evidence has been clear that lately I lack inspiration and focus when it comes to the creative process. That’s why I haven’t been able to finish anything I started.

I wrote a few lyrics recently, nothing extensive due to my ever growing self-diagnosed ADD (hence my poetry in 140 characters as seen on twitter). I sent him what I wrote and he asked if I could do live vocals in his next performance. It was a bit short notice, the event was about 2 weeks away but I accepted the challenge. We agreed on the lyrics and timing for the track just days before the show. I literally became one with the song the day of the event. I knew my cue and I felt I was ready. A lot of things were going through my mind but when I stepped up to the stage, I was completely focused and all was fine at that moment.
