The End
I can’t believe I’ve read 4 books in less than a month. It probably would have taken me less time if I had them all when I started reading the first one. It’s been years since I could simply absorb a story and let myself be so dedicated. I missed that; staying up late reading, not wanting to let go of the book. I’m so relieved that I finished The Twilight Saga. I feel closure, I can let it go, breathe and move on. I truly made up for lost time. It’s been an amazing experience. I truly made up for lost time. I’m not sure how long it took me to finish Twilight and New Moon, but I’m sure I devoured them. It’s in my genes, I have my parents to blame. I’ve seen how my dad starts reading a book and finishes it quickly. My mom is the same way.
I bought the third book on Monday, finished reading it Tuesday night, and the fourth one was bought on Wednesday, finished reading it last night. Eclipse has little over 600 pages and Breaking Dawn is around 750 pages, the longest of the series. It was a pain to read, not because it was bad or long, on the contrary, I just just so anxious to finish since I knew everything had to come to an end. I thought it would be predictable so I was happy to be surprised.
Yesterday my sister and I sat on the sofa, reading. She read Twilight while I read Breaking Dawn. It was fun sharing the silence while I read the last book and she the first, it was nice. Now she’s moved on to New Moon, we told our sister (my second sister) to start reading Twilight, she saw the movie with me, so I told her the book was better. Get her in the fun, so that we can all talk about it. I love my sisters, they’re my best friends.
